[CityU President's Lecture] Bubbles: Science, Sustainability and Technology
(Note: Registration for this lecture conducted via Zoom will be processed on a first-come-first served basis until the quota is reached.)

The lecture, delivered by Professor Chin PAN, Head and Chair Professor of the Department of Mechanical Engineering at City University of Hong Kong, is about bubbles, a peculiar pocket of gases penetrating our daily life, from bathing to drinking.

Some smart animals employ bubbles for survival with very interesting science involved. Significantly, bubbles created during waves breaking may have a crucial effect on the absorption of carbon dioxide in the oceans and the sustainability of the world. The intelligent manipulation of bubbles may cool a surface with ultra-high heat intensity and enhance nuclear safety, too.

You are invited to interact with Professor PAN during the online Q&A session.
